A real dictionary has the etimology of the words. It will tell you what the parts mean, when they were first used, what language they come from, etc. Do a search on 'etimology', you might find a site that does just that.

Go to MS Word and type the word. Then go to "Tools" and "Thesaurus" and it will break words down for you.
