that it might be a boy. I actually saw this sharpy thing between the legs. But then, at 15-16 weeks the doctor already said that he has the feeling that:it's toward a girl.
Most women say, that if you are told that it's a girl, it still might be a boy, but if you are told it's a boy, than it's certainly a boy. It is my first pregnancy, so I don't have a preference, but I would like to know. My next appointment is in three weeks, so I'm just so curious. How do you think: it a boy or a girl?

Get another ultrasound. You can't always tell.that early by something sticking out or not, things are still developing. Wait until about the 20-24 week and you can be more sure of what they see. Coming from a mother of 2.

That's a tough one. When you go into your next appointment as your doctor to give you another ultrasound and to be precise on the sex this time. Because, if your told its a boy, and you start buying boy items then the next time around he tells you it's a boy, its going to get a little stressful for you. But good luck on it. I'm only 10 weeks along, with my second pregnancy and I had the same problems with my first one. Anyway, Congrats.

I've had 2 children. And when I was pregnant the first time a manager where I worked told me you just know. You know it yourself. It's hard to describe how, but you do. As long as you don't fester on it. I just knew both times. Unborn babies sex parts aren't fully developed until they are 16-20 weeks along; that's why it is hard to tell. I suggest don't think about it too much, and let yourself be surprised when the next appoint gets here.

have you had any dreams of your baby? if you had a dream of the gender that's what its gender will be.A doctor cant tell the gender of your baby until your 21 to 24 weeks, i found out when i was 21 weeks and you could see his penis and his balls perfectly but most fetus have to be laying in the right position to be positive of what the gender is. Sometimes if they say its a boy it could possibly be a girl because often the cord can be mistaken for the penis. Maybe your doctor thinks its a girl because baby girls heartbeats are slower then a baby boys heartbeat!

I think that you will know for sure after you request another ultra sound, 14-15 weeks is still very early to be predicting the babies sex and just in case the doc is wrong make sure that you buy a lot of neutral clothes.

Girls so do not out number boys. I have 4 boys and 1 girl. Only with one did they think it was a girl, then said it was a boy. It was a boy. I would think boy if they think they saw something.

Doctors, even with ultrasounds are often still guessing, as they have a 50/50 chance of being right. Technology isn't perfect. I'd go with neutrals for color choices, especially until you further along in your pregnancy. According to my doctor, it is still too early for them to tell you what you are having, even with an ultra sound. ---Whatever the baby is, Congrats!

If you saw something between the legs I would say it is a boy. Unless the doctor is sure it is a girl then I guess you have to believe him.

14 weeks is usually too early to tell much. I would say go with what you were told most recently, but to be on the safe side buy a lot of yellow onesies!
