Some Hezbollah soldiers from Lebanon sneaked over into Isreal and kidnapped a soldier and some other people. They took these people back to their home base which is Lebanon. Isreal went after them and then the Hezbollah started firing rockets into Isreal and killing people. Isreal started dropping leaflets to the innocent citizens that they should leave and not be hurt. The Hezbollah did not drop leaflets to warn the Isrealis. They rejoiced when Jewish citizens were killed by the Hezbollah rockets. The Isreali soldiers marched into battle to retrieve the citizens who had been kidnapped fro Isreal. The Hezbollah terrorists hid with their rockets in the Lebonese neighborhoods and houses and hospitals to fight behind the innocent Lebonese citizens.

The terrorist group Hezbollah is based in Lebanon. they kidnapped Israeli solders, and launched rocket attacks into Israeli cities. So the Israeli army went in and kicked the sh!t out of them. But there was a lot of Lebanese collateral damage done, so as always Israel, was made out to be the bad guy in the whole thing for just defending it's self and it's people. The cease fire will do nothing but give the terrorist that still remain there time to re-group so they can attack again.

The Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon is part of the fundamentalist Muslims who want to destroy not only Israel but the whole western world. This party has come to a critical mass and the job to at least weaken them had to be done.

Because when you have a group of nations that are trying every means to destroy another nation with the help of the rest of the World, than it is up to the nation that was invaded twice and continues to have suicide, missile attacks, and other acts of violence and warfare brought on it to defend itself with any means possible. They even tried to allow the Lebanese people to evacuate out of the fighting area.

Supposed to release 2 soldiers captured by Hezbollah.
Over 2000 died. Lost of damages like bridges, houses etc No soldiers released

Sure seems that Hezbollah IS a terrorist group that killed soldiers and captured others. Beyond that, they killed 242 US Marines by blowing up their barracks in Beirut!!

What Israel said was that the Hezbollah group was hidding in Lebanon. But I don't know.

...because Lebanon's government could not and would not control Hezbollah, and Hezbollah attacked Israel from within Lebanon.
