Every year between mid-July and mid-August the earth passes through a asteroid belt called Perseid that causes us to see many shooting stars. I watched them but did not wish for anything because my wish had already become true.

This time in August is always a good time to see shooting stars.
I have seen several this month but I don't wish on them.

I saw a brilliant shooting star last week while driving through the mountains of Pennsylvania.
I wished for love and happiness.
Something happened this week that makes me think it might come true.

It was about the year 1981.
I counted about 35 before I fell asleep.
Didn't get a chance to wish because I fell asleep.

I actually saw the perseids just a couple of nights ago. I didn't make any wishes, I just enjoyed the fireworks! :)
