I dreamt that my cousin and her girlfriend (elizabeth) had broken up and now she was engaged to a new guy. Elizabeth asked me to let her borrow money for her wedding and so that I could meet her fiance. When they arrived at my house I saw that her fiance was Ernie (in real life he is a guy that I have a huge crush on). I was totally shocked but I couldn't do anything about it. Ernie didn't talk to me. I asked Elizabeth if she knew about Ernie and me but she said that he didn't have feelings for me. I couldn't do anything so I gave her money for her wedding. Then Ernie and Elizabeth ran off and eloped.
What could this dream mean?
In real life they do not know each other. Ernie and I have a "friends with benfits" relationship.

I think you are feeling out of control in your life right now, are a lot of aspects in your life rather chaotic? Do you feel like life has put a lot of demands upon you? The part about her asking you for money made me think that. Could be wrong? I'm going to guess you are feeling a little insecure about your "Friends with benefit" situation. In a way you'd like to have more commitment, but you would be a little worried he may be unfaithful if you did, and/or you are afriad of losing what you have w/him already?

First you have to recognize what feelings you were having during the dream, then you have to recognize what each person means to you. You stated what he means to you, but not how you feel about Elizabeth.
It could be that your subconcious is telling you that Ernie just may end up with a serious relationship with someone else if you and him continue like this and that you will just have to accept it because you didn't demand anything more from him in the first place. The girl that he was with in the dream (Elizabeth) could represent the girl that he is with now or that he will soon be with, and it could be saying that she doesn't know about you.

It means you don't trust Ernie, but you give "benefits" to him anyway. You shouldn't be in a "friends with benefits" relationship anyway. He is just taking advantage of you, and vice a versa. And that is the worst type of relationship that you could have, because it is based only of your needs, not there's (both you and Ernie). There is no relationship; stop this and find someone that you really care about.

That is probably an expression of how you are afraid that Ernie won't be yours, an expression of your crush on him, that maybe you are afraid that Elizabeth poses a threat to the possibility of having Ernie as your boyfriend.
