silver for a more modern look, gold for classic and purple for a fun look. No black jewlerly.

You should wear silver or white gold does will look really Nice on you if you are wearing a black dress .

the great thing with a classic black dress is that you can wear whatever colours you like with it...you listed silver first so I'm guessing thats your fav so go with that...silver earrings,silver necklace and/or bracelet will look stunning with the black

Try some of the semi precious stones instead. Everything else is overdone. I would suggest jade, cats eye, topaz, malachite, or turqoise. If your dress is sleeveless, wear a bold colorful necklace & make a statement. Wear your hair in a loose updo.

i think the silver will look very stylish with a black formal dress. you could wear silver posts and multiple silver layered necklaces.

I wouldn't recommend black, you would want something to stand

I think that silver or pink (or both) go really well with black. Purple might not be very easy to see.
