you feel her? I'm pregnant 17 weeks...and I think I started to feel the baby moving as I was staying in bed siiting on my side. This morning I was so sure it was her. I had this feeling before too, but I wasn't sure as a few seconds later I was passing out gas. But this morning I didn't pass out gas a half an hour or more after that feeling. And then later in the day I felt her moving again. Like 3-4 times again today. But they were not so definite. I tried to lay on my back in order to feel it, but almost nothing happened. And I maybe have to mention that most of the time I'm stayng in bed, as I just start to recover from a really bad morning sickness and if I make to much effort I start throwing up again. My question is: do you think it was my baby moving, or just the same gas, which I didn't pass out right away, but a half, or an hour later. Can this still be gas? If it was the baby, then I would have felt her again when laying on my back? How come I feel the moves so rare?Is it ok?

The movement will start out at a minimum and sometime in a couple of weeks it will get to where it's crazy. The baby will eventually be moving what seems like 24/7. It should not be anything to worry about :)

could be movement at that stage in pregnancy. I'm 21 weeks i still mostly feel my son at night when i lay down I don't feel him much during the day. Some days I'll feel him 10 times or more other days i feel just a tickle of movement like 1 to 2 times. He seems very active one day then not so much the next. The feelings do get stronger the bigger the baby gets and YOU KNOW 4 sure it's movement. I get a little hard lump on my belly where the but and back is i can feel it switches from low to high. I THINK ITS THE BABY 4 you those 1st movements are very very light and you may not feel them everyday. This is my 3rd baby i know mine are movements. I did not feel my 1st till 18 weeks.

If you aren't feeling her, she's asleep. No worries babies do it all the time. Some can't get enough of moving others like to sit around. You are feeling the baby really soon. Most times you won't feel them until you are in you 5th or 6th month. Basically you are feeling her swimming around, that's why it's not so definite. Wait until she gets bigger, there will be days you wish she would stop. If ever you feel like she isn't moving enough, drink a glass of juice, and lay on your left side for an hour. You should feel her at least 5 times. If not, just ask your doctor about. Usually they are just stubborn and don't want to wake up.
Congratulations, and good luck.

Most first time mom's wont feel any movement until 20 weeks. Concider yourself blessed to feel it this soon and recognize it. Babies move when they feel the need and never at the most opportune times ie: when your bladder is full. During your last trimester the baby will have less room to move around so they say at least 10 movements a day would be concidered normal. In your last month, if you dont feel any movement at all i would talk to your doctor. Until then relax, and enjoy the miracle of life!! Good Luck and have a safe and fast delivery!

No, it truly is wonderful at this element to purely experience it a pair of times an afternoon! you shouldn't be predicted to experience widely used flow till you're a minimum of 28 weeks. i began feeling flow round an analogous time as you, and now it truly is develop right into a lot more beneficial generic. in spite of the reality that, my infant nevertheless has "quiet" days the position he would not flow particularly as a lot. some days he's bouncing off the walls and some days it type of feels he's resting lots. How a lot flow you experience is depending upon a large number of issues...the area of your uterus and the newborn interior (if the newborn is grew to develop into inwards, you're a lot less in all probability to experience something), and only the demeanor of the newborn often. some babies are kickers, some are more beneficial mellow. For now, only relish those early flutters and seem ahead to a lot more beneficial! best of success and congrats!

You won't feel your baby move as much in the beginning because he or she has more room to move around. As you get further along you will feel the baby move more as he/she has less space to move in. You normally feel it more when you are laying down because when you are moving you are believe it or not rocking the baby to sleep. When you are ready to sleep the baby is getting most active because he/she has been sleeping all day.

It probably was your baby and as it grows you'll feel it a lot more. The movements will get stronger and more definite over time. My daughter was never still and even kind of hurt me a few times with all her kicking, and it started off with a tiny butterfly-like feeling in my tummy. I'm sure everything's fine. :-)

It can be both.. usually you can feel flutters. Like when I started feeling little flutters here and their when i was 16 wks. The babies arent that big at 17wks, thats why you dont feel much, just a little thing every once in awhile. Yeah its just fine, but dont worry give it a few wks more and you'll know!

It probably is the baby moving. Relax, soon you will feel so much movement it will tire you out!
Keep a good attitude--it's the biggest thing you can do to make a happy pregnancy.
