The answers I read are really coming most from North America would'nt a broader participation give more insight and expand knowledge?

It's open to people from any country who has access to Yahoo. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll find links to Yahoo Answers for many other countries in the languages commonly used in those countries.

You can always check out the other countries' Answers section if you'd like. I do and it's interesting to get their perspectives on certain issues.

Go down to the bottom of the page on the left and it gives you options. That's on your Q&A page

Not limited to North Amercia. There are people here from UK, Australia, India...

Thats because you LIVE in the States. You wouldn't be able to see any other questions from different countries, unless you CHANGED it! I thought everyone knew that.
