My wife and I are debating if our son should see this movie. My thought is that this is Superman - "thruth, justice and the American way" deal - how bad can it be? My wife is thinking that is PG-13 and perhaps we should be careful.

Yeah i think its appropriate because there is hardly any love scenes or foul language! nothing bad really happen except when Superman gets hurt

There is hardly any violence, nothing graphic anyways. A bit of romance, no nudity. Perhaps a small bit of coarse language but I don't remember any. It's as appropriate for a seven year old as an action film can get these days.
Personally, I found it rather boring. A seven-year-old would probably like it, it's Superman!

If your not sure, watch it first and then make your decision. I find that it always depends on the kid and why the movie got the pg13 rating.

very. it's dialogue and situations are all like a comic book. very very friendly and cartoonish.
