corn starch, so it will release the fabric when dusted off....
flour or baby powder will just clump up and you will have a mushy greasy mess..and make a bigger stain..for they are a heavy powder...
that is why corn starch is used for heat rashes as well...
after letting it set for a bit dust off and repeat...
then use tide or gain,,,on the spot carefully put fabric together rubbing spot not to mesh fabric and cause those worn spots and get fabric balls...then wash in cold..

This works:
1.) Make a paste with meat tenderizer and a little water.
2.) Using the paste and an old tooth brush scrub the stain.
3.) Allow to set for a while, possibly over night.
4.) Launder as usual.

For something that is greasy you could just soak the stain with your usual detergant and then wash it as normal.

try to put a small amount of detergent on the stain...rub in....let set for about 10-20 min...then wash as usual.good luck.

I was once told oven cleaner will get out oil/grease stains out.But I have never tried it.
