Ah! The mighty dollar at work. Well, what can we do? We could be here all day trying to find a solution. There are people out there to help. The problem is there are too many addicts and not enough people willing to help for no remuneration. It does take a certain amount of money, governments are not willing to give for what they often view as lost causes.( but give them a good deal on SCUDS and CRUISE woohoo!)

I think the real issue is that it takes money to pay for these drugs and rich woman most likley use money to buy them - a person who cannot afford to purchase them with money usually performs some sort of sexual act and in return will get her drugs (hence the term whore). The poor people who are doing drugs and can't afford them are probably not taking care of their children (since their stoned) , whereas, the rich woman most likely are having her kids looked after by a nanny. Neither the rich nor poor woman who do drugs is okay....

I guess the poor woman should've realized that she couldn't afford to do stupid drugs like that... they only make everything a million times worse... sure, it's not fair. The rich woman shouldn't have done it either... but she had the funds and the means to not only support her habit, but also to get help for it when she realized it was a problem.
Social status is never fair, but we have to realize our limitations. I can't go out and buy a corvette, a rich woman can. If I do, I go into debt, ruin my life. She just drives around all happy. It's life. Don't do anything without thinking about it. That's the lesson.

It's not fair, but the rich woman can afford the Betty Ford clinic, and the poor woman can only afford what the state medical program supplies. If you are addicted to drugs, alcohol, etc, and are neglecting or abusing your kids, then they should be removed from you, whether you are rich or poor.
Hope this helps!

It's not fair. The rich woman has the resources to pay for an exclusive place to become drug free. Where as a poor woman doesn't have much to live for and can't break the habit. The rich woman can afford the drugs, the poor woman can't. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

There are a lot of groups for the poor woman and a lot of groups for the rich woman that will help both.
The situation that is NOT ok is the woman who rides the middle road. The woman who is educated, self supporting, making a decent income - jeopardized, if she takes time off, her reputation is in question, she can't freely go anywhere without question. She will loose everything she has worked hard for her neighbors will judge her and she will loose support of her family and friends.

It's one thing to seek help and one thing for a crack whore to be busted and jailed. Life is fair, since you get out of it according to what you put into it.

No, it certainly is not fair, but it is harsh reality.
Of course, the rich woman's kids are not neglected because she probably has a nanny for them, who probably takes good care of them, better than the mom can, thus they are not in danger.
Sigh!!!!!!!!!!!
Join thre real world.
