There is an insert in MySA.com called San Antonio and South Texas. It will give you a good idea of all the fun places and things to do in San Antonio and the area around San Antonio (day trips). You can check the website below or call the general information number at 210-250-3000.
The water parks are at 6 flags Fiesta, Sea World and Schlitterbahn. Schlitterbahn is not in San Antonio, but was rated #1 in the nation by the travel channel. It is huge and lots of fun. there is no way you can do everything there in one day. You can also bring in your own ice chest of goodies (no booze) and if you want buy stuff there. People are respectable and don't steal from one another so you can actually leave your stuff (except keys and money; don't be stupid) and they won't touch it. Have fun.

right here in San Antonio, there's a Sea international and Fiesta Texas. both subject Parks have a water park section. We actually have the River walk, it quite is ought to make certain. There are barge excursions you may take for very few money. The riverwalk is lined with eating places, golf equipment or maybe Rivercenter mall.absolutely everyone that comes right here also requests to make certain the Alamo it quite is about a nil.5 block from the riverwalk. Schlitterbahn waterpark and hotel is in New Braunfels it quite is basically about a nil.5 hour away. Schlitterbahn is fantastic. It became equipped on the banks of the Guadalupe River. have exciting at the same time as get right here!!

You might try catching a movie at the I-max at Rivercenter Mall, its a neat experience. If outdoors and history are interesting to you, the old missions trail is a fun way to spend an afternoon,(not right now its to hot). S.A. has many museums like the Witty, Institute of Texan Cultures and a few others. Tubing on the river in nearby New Braunfels is always a good time. If you look in the Express News, the SA life section always has a listing of whats going on around town. MySA.com is the online version.

if you are into the outdoors, there is MacArthur Park.... off/near Jones Maltzberger/Wetmore/Perrin Beidel (I'll let everyone else correct me).. that is a great place to go if you are an outside type of person....
Great clubs in the evenings (if you are the least bit country) are Cowboys (and even they don't play just cowboy music and there are many HOT people in general there) plus great bands....
Also, Midnight Rodeo.... off Nacadoches.
These are GREAT places to hang, dance and just find somebody to chat with...
Also, if you are adventurous and really want to go out and have a good time, then try Players...

if you need someone to go with... email me... ;)
Just an idea... ;)
