About a hundred years ago the head of the US patent office decided that everything that could be invented had been invented. As long as people have an imagination there will always be a new and better invention.I still remember when people said "what could be better than an 8 track tape".LMAO

Hundreds of years ago when the car was invented (Ford Model T) Do you think people thought cars could get more advanced.? This world is always advancing. In Japan already they have portable music as small has a quarter that can hold over 500 songs (this is not for sale yet) But yes, eventually everything has reached its peak, computers have almost reached their peak, little inventions such as toilet paper on a role for example has reached its peak. Toilet paper may seem very primative nowadays but think when it was newly introduced.
In conclusion, looking at our pasts there have been many upgrades in technology which distuigishes us from cave men. In 100 years from now, our great children will look down at us thinking our little toys were primitive.

Good question!
As Yogi Berra once observed, "It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future." But we all know that it is evident that computer technologies and the long distance capabilities of Internet are just in their beginnings.
Dan Reed, director of the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, says that "In the world of the not-too-distant future, "smart" office buildings and houses will set the temperature, lighting, and environment to suit your individual needs when you walk in the door, microsensors in your body will monitor your blood pressure and heart rate and report back to your physician, and car radios will include chips that allow for personalized advertising".
This is peanuts when compared what they are planning with health and aeronautics. Just read and see what the Vice President and General Manager of Boeing Phantom Works, George Mueller , shows as what they are working on for our transplantation by 2020: http://www.boeing.com/phantom/2020dt.html.
I will finish by quoting Mueller:
"predictions that go much beyond the gestation period of today's emerging technologies are nearly impossible. The best way to predict the future is to invent it!".

I believe it was in Japan, they were experimenting with a train that went so fast, that people ended up inside the floor. I don't mean the floor was broken, they were enveloped in the floor, as if they slid through it like liquid and then it solidified. There were so many theories, ranging from time travel and such.
There is also a man I believe in texas, that was given the great honor of being given a prosthetic/robotic arm, by the military mind you, that he can control with his thoughts.
So what do you think?

you are thinking wornd there could be an ipod just the siza of you ear. just plug it in and you will listen lots of music. you cant imagine but other people can, so they wil try to invent it. do you know NASA is now testing on personal jets, contains four seats. smaller than the the bus. and they probebly will finish in near future and you could be driving it when you are in your 70's.

I'm pretty sure they'll find a way to get even more advanced. After all, I'm sure people who rode horses didn't think it could get more advanced than that, but here we are with cars.

It always does! Never, trough history, could a man imagine something more advanced then what he has now. Still, it happens, always.
