Here is my answer to your survey, if you believe that socialism works and that by having government take all of your freedoms away we will be better off than you are in a dream world and need to wake up. First, Canada that the liberals wants to imitate has started to allow for more private doctors and private health care since the public health care could not keep up with demand. Most people tend to have a decent wage, but if you want to have the lifestyle of the rich, than you need to be as aggressive as the rich in making money. Most of the major philosophers have sayings that go if you give a man a fish he eats for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for life. If we just give people items without working, you teach them to rely on you for everything. This takes away all of his freedoms which is directly against what this country was founded on. Also, most of the people that I know who volunteer at the food pantries and help the poor tend to be conservative Christians and not liberals. Liberals talk the talk but can not walk the walk.

i liked you better when I was drunk. This from a conservative that doesn't give a damn who marries who. Thinks people are poor because they're too lazy to bust their asses to get somewhere. Doesn't want the Government or anyone else to meddle in my finances and am willing to pay for my own health care. I also think you can become anything you want to in this great country, work hard and become successful or sit on your lazy ***, let someone else pay your way and become a liberal

Gee let's see:
I volunteer my time at a homeless shelter and donate money, clothes and household items to the poor.
I don't believe homosexuals should marry in the traditional sense of marriage, and yet I have homosexual friends whom I love. (And have given them gifts, whatever that's supposed to prove.)
I want all kids to be fed and sheltered. In addition, I want all kids to be safe and out of abusive home environments.
I want everyone to be taken care of medically who needs to be treated.
BUT....
I'm a conservative Republican. Ooopsy, there goes your theory.
I want and do all these things because I'm a Christian who believes we have a duty to love others. But I don't believe this is something that should be mandated by the Federal Government. I don't think everyone should be expected to pay through taxes to have all this done. These are issues to be dealt with on a personal level...or at most the State Government level.
Be careful which brush you use to paint whole groups of people. My religion works itself out to help people. My politics makes sure people aren't forced to do what I believe in personally.
By the way, just because I'm a registered Republican doesn't mean I vote down party lines. I vote my conscience every time.

if you don't mind living off the gov. "tit"..if you don't mind creating huge social programs, paid for by tax payers so as to keep able-bodied shiftless lazy career welfare recipients.dependent for life...if you promote the welfare state...keeping the poor...poor for ever so as to keep their vote....if you don't mind killing babies in the womb....if you don't mind enabling a decadent life-style....if you don't mind continually placing a 'bulls-eye' squarely on the backs of our valiant troops.....if you don't mind handing your political party over to the far left- wacko fringe....if you don't mind your party eating their own...sounds as if you need another drink...the hang-over has affected your mind as well.
