I feel like it depends on which one cared the most in the realationship. healing time is different with veryone. While some people may be over it in a year and go on, Some people may never get over the hurt.

Guys usually take break ups harder. They don't have the same friend/support structure that females have. Women usually have friends to help them stay occupied and introduce them to new potentials. Most men don't have those options with the guys they hang out with.
As for who bounces back faster is a toss up. If you meet someone new soon you get back to normal faster. If not it will usually take longer.

It would of course be hurtful and affect the one who didn't initiate the break up, therefore it could be either.
But as most probably believe, the guy usually bounces back quicker and moves on.

I think that guys are mostly affected because we are the ones that might be regected by another girl after breaking up with the one we had.

Hi,,,, i would say that it affects the girl more than the guy... but ,,,,
I had a college girlfriend that broke up with me,,, and that was 30 yrs ago... and I still think about her to this day!!!!

Women that is our curse. Your punnishment was to have a craving for your husband and he will dominate you.
men's was having to work for a living. But men are our curse.
They break our hearts and in a week they are over it and we grieve ourselves to death. That weekend they get a new playmate. They grieve for like 10 min.

women definately, its take forever to get over a guy, and when a guy breaks up with a girl he acts like he don't even care especially the young boys.

It depends, sometimes it's the complete opposite, and it depends, some never really get over their relationship, and other's can move on surprizingly quickly.
