If your boss is a male, totally inappropriate. He can't find other women to take out for drinks? Just say "no thank you." If he pressures you, he's being a jerk and you should say no. I don't know him so I don't know if he is flirty with you or what, only you can be the judge.

Inappropriate. Asking you out for lunch would be okay, but drinks is unprofessional. I don't know how exactly you should say no, but say no. If you accept and it turns bad, the fact that you accepted the inviatation will be used against you and make it harder for you to prove your case.
If he is making you uncomfortable, you need to go to his superior and document this NOW. Documenting an incident is not pressing charges, it is just getting it on the record in case things go really bad. You will need this evidence.

Do you want to go?? Is your boss a guy?? if you want to say no say I wish I could but I have to go and pick up my boyfriend. If he still asks, get a guy friend to stop by your job and say, oh hey man I heard you wanted to go out for drinks, I'm her boyfriend_ blank_ sure WE"LL go for drinks! That'll stop it if that what you want to do??

Go only if you want to go. Since you ask how to say no in the right way, my guess is that you don't want to go.

If you don't want to go, then tell him you'd rather not. If he presses you, say NO. You can leave it at that. In actual practice, you might not find it quite so easy, though.

Stick to whatever choice you make (go or no go) and be true to yourself.

If you were asked out for happy hour with a crowd then go. If you were asked to have a drink with just him tell him no thanks. Tell him thank you for the offer, but you just can't. If he tries to get you to commit to a date or whatever, say you wouldn't feel comfortable seeing him outside the workplace because of your coworkers, and you wouldn't want to jeopardize his or your positions within the company.

Is this the boss who has a drinking problem? (your earlier question). If so, don't encourage him to drink or anything else.

I don't think I would go. There are enough risks in the work place without a sexual harassment suit.

just let him know how you feel and you don't feel it's proper to go out drinking after work

Who says you have to say no? It's just drinks, he's not asking you to sleep with him. Maybe he just wants to hang out.
