i look like im 12 but im actually 14, what should i do?

i have really curly hair that used to look like the hair in my avatar but know i cut it and i have shirley temple curls now. and im really short like, 5"3 and kind of stocky. hehehe. i guess thats why i guys dont look at me cuz i look like im really young and shortish and a little meaty. what should i do to look a little older and make guys look at me???/

well, i would say that if would be your height but i'm 13 and 5"5' and thats not that more tall than you are so maybe its the way you act ( sorry, but it just might that, not saying that it is! )

I have 2 people in my grade that are way shorter than 5"3 and they don't seem that ther younger or older so it probably ain't your height!

And, if the guys at your school are anything like the guys at my school there probably total jerks!!!!
I want a guy to like me too but maybe its just cause, one, the guys are total jerks, two, the guys don't have good taste in girls, and three, maybe the guys arn't right for you and me... we all have our different tastes in guys but all the guys in the world are beg jerks somtime in there life!!!!

Keep your head up and don't think that just because the cutest guy in school doesn't like you that your life sucks... just remember, its you and what you think about yourself that will get you through life!!!

Right now I'm sure this isn't something you really like, but one day...when you are MY age, you'll be wishing someone told you that you looked younger than you are!! LOL!!! I am 33 and told often that I could easily pass for about 20 or so. I'm not so sure I believe it, but it sure feels nice to hear.

So, dress slightly older, yet don't start dressing like a trampy girl. That isn't what you want. Maybe add a little bit of make-up to help you. Otherwise, just try to be content right now. I know it's hard, but odds are, if you look younger now, you'll continue to look younger and when you hit my age, you'll be very happy to hear those words!! :-)

And I doubt your height has much to do with it. I am only 5'3". Wow...guess you think I'm really short too....hehehe!! And a little bit of meat on your bones isn't so bad!! Maybe also see if a hair stylist would have a suggestion for your hair to be a little more adult looking without over-doing it.

Well when i was 13 people though i was 11 i actually kind of liked it. Your 5'3 and your 14? wow then i must be short. I'm 15 and I'm 5'2 i also like been 5'2 =>. but you should put make-up on. but not a lot because then you will look weird when you take it off. I'm 15 and i don't put make-up. but if you really want to look older then put make up and buy tall shoes.

Maybe straighten your hair if it'll make you feel better. Become really involved in school so guys can notice you and get to know you. Join a club or play a sport. And if you wear glasses try contacts.

It's no big deal honey! Everybody grows at different rates. If I was you I'd play sport to get fit, and this is a good way to meet guys too :) Just remember to be friendly to them - don't assume that they don't like you before you have given them a chance.

Let me tell you this: when I was 12- I looked 8...at 16 I looked 12....at 18- I looked more like 15...then at 21....like 16....at 25....more like 18.....that's when I got married. One year later I had my first son....and Baam! I looked 30 instead of 26. So...hey- chill...and look at it as a blessing to look younger than your real age.

My best advice, is to WAIT. First of all, you are twelve years old why do you want guys to look at you?... And if they do look at you what are you expecting them to look at? Secondly, enjoy being innocent while you can!!! Because the way you are sounding right know, you wont be later on.

Don't change a thing. Believe me when I say that when you're older, you will wish you look younger. Give thanks for that baby face and enjoy getting into the movies for the kid price. You'll have PLENTY of time for guys to notice you, you're only 14. Geez.

I good idea is to wear make-up that 14 year-old girls usually wear. Also dressing like one it always helps to have everything else look you age. Don't let one hair style get you down!
