Positive chemicals in our brain become linked with positive memories of people. A break-up suddenly turns all these positive memories into negative ones. Essentially you've become "addicted" to a person and your body and mind are now going through literal withdrawals.

Sometimes even when you know it's for the best change is hard and even with the bad you soon forget that and those good times come to mind and make you sad. Always at that time remember why your a part. Not in a bad way but to take away the sad way and it really is always the darkest before the dawn. (set up its a fact) :-)

I dont know why they hurt, but it sucks to go through that, that's why I aint dating until I meet, I really really nice guy, that likes me more that I like him.

due to the memories we hang on too...
the memories feed us, feed our thoughts...

devastated because we will not be able to share the sweet things with the one we loved one anymore...
that we have to tear ourself out of the fairy tales...

thats why break ups are hell.
