Are most flying saucers that are sighted actually secret Air Force crafts?

I think they are. Unfortunately, most people have an active imagination and do not want to believe the Air Force has secret aircraft. Now, there are somethings that do defy everything we know, so those I do believe are something from another planet.

The SR71 Blackbird was the fastest aircraft any nation ever put into the air.

Satellite technology eclipsed the need for fast aircraft. Whatever a high-altitude manned aircraft can do, an appropriately equipped ground controlled orbiting satellite can do better.

Technology like Global positioning, Tomahawk cruise missiles etc. fill the gap that extraordinary aircraft were designed to serve.

Why on earth would the gov't be messing around with flying saucers unless for space travel?

After hearing both sides of the "flying saucer" debate, the nuts & flakes appear to be the types who report flying saucers. Their credibility is questionable. Many of the photographic "proofs" are photographic fakery, many others are staged. Very few remain in the inexplicable category.

I have, however, heard some very convincing evidentiary testimony that intellegen extra-terrestrial beings not only exist, but may already be in contact with mankind. But the jury is still out (in my mind anyway). I have not seen anything I'd call absolute proof.

The Air Force did try to create a flying saucer. It was a complete bust. Many UFO sitings are USAF experimental aircraft, but not all can be attributed to that. The Auroa project is only known about because of a few sitings as well as strange contrails. The Air Force has not named the plane the Auroa, nor ever confirmed its existence.

I hardly think so. If we had "flying saucers" it would have leaked out by now.

I cite the Aurora Project. A "super secret" spyplane that flies exclusively out of the Air Base at Groom Lake, Nevada. If it was all that "super secret" we wouldn't even know the name of the project. Information does leak.

If US Air Force wanted to test secret aircrafts, you bet they wouldn't test them over US ground.

One could assume that, especially over Area 51
