Umm.. ok.. improving soccer skills huh..
Well there r 2 kinda players.. one with natural skills like marodona, ronaldo, ronaldihno and others like hard working/perfectionist players like pele and almost everyone in premier league.. Choose one that u think u fall in 2.
if u're in the 2nd catagory, you got to win it by practicing harder than u ever imagine.
beside physical aspect of the game... learn to observe the game. And like they say. " watch and learn".. a good observation is a good practice and knowledge. Watch every great players play and know every in's and out of the game.. learn in with you game. Soccer is not just a physical game, it's a mind game too.. You should do everthing in u're mind before doing it in the field...
beside that...
u need, stamina.. speed, strength and u're brain.
for stamina.. keep u're diet very stick.. no smoking, no pots, beers or any ******* fatty things.. keep it strick... with lots of regular exercise though like running long distance, 2,3 hour/day..
go to gym for strenghtening u're legs and little bit of light exercise. but remember u're not becoming a body builder. work on u're thigh and abs only..
and above all. you need a regular exercise or practice routine with u're team or a local mates or individual.. Playing soccer a week won't make u a good player..... Remeber. .natural skills is good but without a good stamina, strength and speed, they r nothing and aren't considered a good player. So, work on it very hard... play with the ball with u're foot and u're mind.. It's like being a surgeon.. know inside and out about the thing u do .

I know you've heard this but for real: practice. Also soccer isn't all about skills. Being in top shape helps tremendously. About a month before the season begins i run a mile every day and it helps overall. Also Doug Miller camps are great. They are pro soccer players that teach you new moves but mostly beat down the basics, which perfects your skills.

You can start by taking a ball with you everywhere you go. When you walk dribble the ball around.......pass the ball off of walls and control it as it comes to you......Think of it as an egg flying at you.....You have to control it and have a soft touch. I know you probably have heard this many times....but PRACTICE EVERYDAY live eat and breathe soccer.......from a former college soccer player

Dribbling - set up cones and try to cut through them as fast as you can. It also helps if you incorporate some moves. Think of it a little like slalom.
Juggling - take time out of your day to juggle. Juggle for like 10 minutes, rest, and then do it again. Set a goal for yourself every time you do it. It helps, trust me. I've gotten up to about 300.
Touches - Get used to the ball. Kick it off a wall and get closer and closer as you hit it. Toss it up in the air and try to settle it. Do whatever you can to get your feet used to the ball
Hope this helps
