Sounds like your tranny is hooped. ( I know this because mine went too :P )
you can try dumping some transmedic into it and see if that helps. To find out for sure you should take it to a garage and get them to hook it up to the diagnostics machine.
If your transmission is broken like I suspect it is ... dont drive it above 40-50 kph...drive it in the 3rd or 4th gear and stay off the highway.
You may notice that it will use alot more gas.
That sucks and the gas prices should be an incentive to get it fixed.
It is very expensive !!! very expensive.
To give you an idea my van transmission is going to cost about $900 (used) to get and then $60 and hour in the shop...
good luck to you .. I hope Im wrong.

you're continuously meant to be able to shift into impartial without urgent a button or something in case of an emergency. you don't desire to shift right into a decrease equipment or opposite at the same time as you're driving because it is going to smash your transmission. this form of shifting should be at the same time as you're are stopped and require depressing a button/pulling the equipment shift ahead/overcoming some form of mechanical lock. All automated autos are set up this form.

You need to get your transmission looked at by a professional, and if you continue to drive it like you describe, you will DEFINITELY be paying for a new one!

You may be low on transmission fluid. Check it when the engine is warm and running at idle.
