It means you had better get working on your marriage NOW! You should get the communication going and try to figure out what is wrong and do your best to fix it. I hope it is not too late. Many times when that phrase is used the spouse has already found someone else they want to be with. If you love him, fight like hell to make things right, but also prepare yourself for the worst.

It is some sort of cop out for something else going on. Either you love someone or you don't. He just probably doesn't want to tell you that he doesn't love you.

This means your husband loves you as a person, as you would love a sister, brother, or friend HOWEVER he isn't "in love" with you like a relationship. The difference is that when you are in love, it's with a spouse, and it's romantic. When you love someone it is usually referred to in a family or friendly way. Your husband is trying to say he loves you but isn't in love with you after all this time?

it means that he cares for you, but is not in love with you any more, and that his feelings have changed. It would be more like loving a sister than a wife.. if he has told you this, then don't be surprised if he slaps you wtih divorce papers.. sorry about this

Look out trouble is on its way.He may have him a little side dish.
If you want to keep your marriage best talk to him and see what is going on.Don't give up so easy try and work it out first.

In my case, it meant he fell in love with some skanky ho. We divorced, and he married her 6 months later.
I wish them both nothing but ..........cancer.
