The people who run this site are not idiots. They will be able to see through the deception easily enough. If you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about.

Your account can't be lost for one thing, you're higher in level than that imposter. When you're higher in level, it means you've been on answers longer than that impersonator, that's one thing you can use to argue against the yahoo answers staff.
By the way, I've reported the impersonator over 20 times already, 22 to be exact and she won't get away with it. :)

But how do I know that YOU are the real one?

But I can only suggest contacting yahoo. They would probably send you an e-mail or something saying you've been reported. Send one back with links to both profiles and point out the dates of when each one was started.
That HAS to work. I hope.
