As far as Hip-Hop, I'd say you can NEVER go wrong w/ some 'old school' artists like "Whoudini", "Heavy-D", "De La Soul", "KRS-1", K-Solo", "Run DMC" and muzik like that....
~Current Hip-Hop...anything by Mos Def or Talib Kweli or Dead Prez...
~Pop...anything by Destiny's Child or Beyonce...
~and I love 'old-school' R&B...Aretha, Al Green, Luther Vandross, and toooo many otherz to name...

Anything H.I.M., Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Chevelle, etc. If i would have said anything R&B, Rap, Hip-Hop, or Pop that would have been "WACK"
