Mess that the Republicans have created. Of course your question is very open. You do not point out any specifics. So I will try yo read your mind.

The war in Iraq: If Iraq is a mess than we must presume that it was a Utopian state before the war. But we do know the Hussein did give money to suicide bombers. We also know that he used WMD in the passed on his own people. What we did not know , and all of our allies, is does he still have weapons of mass destruction. Well the common notion is that he did not. Some conservatives believe that they were taken by the Syrians and Russians out of Iraq. Since Hussein had months to plan for the U.S. Invasion.
Liberals now believe that there was never any and Bush made up lies to go after Hussein.

Many have heard about the 500 rounds of Mustard Gas rounds found in Iraq. Some say they are from the 1990's. I have also heard that some UN inspectors have stated that these rounds are not harmless and therefore are not WMDs.

I have a question for the UN inspectors. If they are considered harmless and are not dangerous, than why did the UN especially France insist that these weapons be destroyed?
Why destroy them if they are harmless? What is the big deal than?
Two possible answers:
1) The 500 rounds are not harmless and rather dangerous. Therefore they are WMDs.
2) The 500 rounds are harmless and some in the UN membership want to hide something. Possibly the origin of these 500 rounds. Did they come from France and Russia? Because if they did than both countries would have broken UN resolutions and International Law (Geneva conventions).

This would not be surprising since we caught both Russia and France supplying the Iraqi military while the U.S. forces were engaged in combat with Iraqi forces.

So my answer to you that the mess was not created by Democrats or Republicans at all. In this time of emotionalism it is easy to blame the other political party. I would argue that much of what is happening today stems from British Imperialism, but also the mess was created by the United Nations.

The United Nations has been used as a tool for European Dominance over the Middle East and to compete with the US economically. They make resolutions and do not enforce them. They have showed support for terrorist groups which they call National Movements.

I do think there will be benefit from what the Republicans and Democrats (America Unified) is doing.

What benefit? Well imagine the Middle East 20 years from now and than imagine that the US did nothing to help democracy in the region.
Are you imagining? Well now think of what would happen of the demand for oil would drop dramatically. It is possible. The US and Europe are looking for alternate sources. Alternative fuels will be good for the U.S., but it would not be good for the Middle East. This is because the economy in the Middle East is over 90% oil. If the demand decreases than there will be an increase in poverty (much greater than it is now) . The economic collapse will allow for the rise of Islamic Fundamentalists to gain absolute power. Now imagine these Islamic Fundamentalists (terrorists) having nuclear weapons.

If we continue to keep "playing" the "Blame Game" back and forth, "you" started it,{ the republicans] "No "you" started it,{ the democrats} it's just going to continue back and forth and what can come out of it? Maybe another "wake up" call like 9-11, God forbid! While we sit here arguing back and forth, not paying attention to what's going on around us, what do you think is happening with the terrorist? One morning we could wake up and find them again, another 9-11 or maybe "worse" this time , and everyone going to wonder how did this happen again? How? Now there's a question we should be "seriously" thinking about shouldn't we? The "system" we have now isn't working, it's a horrible failure, I don't believe it's the system, I believe it's the people running the system that don't know how to lead. GW's approval rate is at an all time low, less than 30% . 2 more years of GW, what's going to happen in those next few years?I think we have two choices here, one we can sit back and continue to do nothing and pray that we'll make it through the next 2 years, or we can use the system of government set up by our forefathers{ the one that our soldiers fight and die to defend} and make a change ! It'll only become beneficial if we "learn" from our mistakes!

That's a great question, considering it's it's fiction. As I think you need to be reminded about 9/11. I know how the Democrats like to say that we don't belong in Iraq, but were also the ones who help vote to put us there, Pres. Bush tried again, and again to get the U.N. to let him go over there, while the weopons were still there. Congress said no, and so did the U.N. Saddom had a chance to get them out before we got there, so the CIA had egg on their face, and had to say that they made a 'mistake'. It doesn't take alot of brains to realize that. They aren't that incompetent to make that big of a mistake.
My son was in Afaganistan, and talked to quite a few people in the know over there, because many had also been in Iraq.
They were well aware of the fact that Saddam wasn't totally inocent in all this. He helped with money, and other things.
He was and is a war criminal to the inth degree. It's mainly the Insurgance killing their there own people. Not us. We are trying to get rid of the Insurgance.
The Democrats have started more wars than than Republicans. Pres. Lincoln, a Republican, was forced into a war to free the slaves. W.W.ll was declared by Roosevelt, Korea was started by Roosevelt, and than Truman took over. Nam was started by Pres. Kennedy, and contued to escalate with the Johnson Administration. People blame Nixon for escalating the war, when all he was basicly trying to do was stop the weopons coming out of Cambodia from China. He sure didn't start it though.
Repulicans declared war on Iraq, when they invated Quate.
Here's another liitle tidbit you might like. If Clinton and Gore had done there jobs when they were in office, we wouldn't have had 9/11 in the first place. They had warnings from Oliver North during a Senate Hearing about about Bin Ladin. He said that he was the most evil man on earth, and had spent $60,000.00 on security for his home because of it. Clinton and Gore made Israel set some political prisiners free, who later were responsible for 9/11. So how about putting the blame were it belongs. Democrats since Korea have been really good at starting wars, and not finishing them. The only one they have truly won is WWll, and we did against Iraq which was a Republican, except we didn't get Saddom when we should have. The Democrats have been weak on defense since Korea.
Rule number 1: There will always be a war someplace in the world.
Rule number 2: People die in war|
Rule number 3: You can't change rule 1,and 2.
I know, because it's been tried again, and again.

What big mess, oh ya, the mess where we took the fight to Muslim fascists on their turf and have had no attacks here. Or, was it the mess were our economy is the strongest it has been in 40 years. Or, the mess where fewer people are on welfare than anytime in the last 30 years. You want a mess, hand our country over to the tree hugging, feel good, wealth redistribution liberals so they can raise your taxes, legalize the illegals, give to those who won't work for it and make everything that "might offend" someone, somewhere against the law.
Or, in words that even you can understand, your an idiot.

After Alzheimer's Raygun tripled the debt. It only took slick willie 8 years to get us in the Black.

Considering he had the highest known IQ of any president. A good international business, criminally insane president should be able to handle the job.

Hopefully people will vote Democrat, and hopefully the Dem.s will be worthy of the vote. Hopefully we will then see a return to more humanistic and earth-friendly values.
Hopefully we will also see a return of hope.
:)
In the meantime, contribute to the betterment of the world in some way, plant a tree, give up meat, become a big brother, donate to AA, whatever it takes to make you feel like you are helping the change to happen, and most of all whatever it takes so you don't feel alone and stuck in front of that train anymore.
Best~

you mean the illegal immigration train?. . yes, that's a mess, but if you think having Republicans in power is bad, you should consider what a mess it will be if the Democrats get in power. They'll give amnesty to not only the tens of millions of illegals who are here now (refusing to assimilate into American society and systematically destroying our country). . but also to all 70 million more that can make it across the border by the time it's passed and signed (by Hillary or whatever Democrat president would be in power (even Bush!! on this issue Bush is a Democrat!! He's an open borders guy! I'm so ashamed of him!)

Well the slackers will be happy, with 16% interest rates and the next Great Depression on the horizon I expect a lot of fanatical terrorists will be laughing up their sleeves as well.
