No, the Texans did not make a mistake. They are running an offense based on the Running Back making one cut and then going straight ahead. Bush is not that style of Running Back. Also, the O-line is based on a zone blocking scheme a la the Denver Broncos. Terrell Davis, Mike Anderson, Reuben Droughns, yea none of them drafted high. Texans helped themselves a lot on Offense via free agency with guys like Mike Flanagan (Center) Eric Moulds (WR) and Jeb Putzier (TE) among other guys so they went Defense with their 1st two picks in the draft. Yes, I do wish they had been able to trade down and acquire additional draft picks but it was not meant to be.

Reggie Bush is going to be a dynamo! Always go for the points!! Houston made a huge error by going with defense when they already struggle on offense.

the texans haven't any offensive line. i dont imagine reggie bush could deal with the entire offensive workload. texans have a good operating back in davis which will carry them for the subsequent 5 or so years. they prefer extra line (on both facet of the ball).

If they didn't want/need Bush, then they should have traded down so they could get a player they wanted plus some extra draft picks.

I think both are gifted atheletes and if it was a mistake it wasn't HUGE and its just a roll of the dice all drafts are a gamble some you win some you loose

whats the point the issue is their line.. no RB can excel with that shitty O-Line.. thats why carr gets sacked so many times and why the Rbs are amazing.. its the worst system of blocking ever

yes, the texans don't have a dominant running game, they never have so that is why carr struggles, you have to run to set up the pass
