I think so. My girlfriend, sry, ex, lied to me several times, and every tim eshe promised it'd never happen again. It happened 4 times, and then she wanted to take a "break" just before she left for camp, and to get back together when she got back. I ended it right there. Pretty much all the trust l;eaves man, its the feelings that are the harx d thing to get rid of.

Well, can you continue to TRUST someone who will lie to your face even after being caught lying? To me, that's pretty much a dead end. As in, "Okay, now I know who you are" and that person is a liar. Giving someone a chance is one thing. Once they prove they won't come through and will continue to lie -- well, how will you EVER know if they're telling the truth. So yes, all trust is lost.

yes. to lie is a bridge burner! it's one thing to lie and get caught. but to continue doing it like nothing ever happened, is disrespectful. i would set that bridge blazing and end that relationship. there could never be any real sense of security or trust there. no trust, no ties!!

We dumped my husbands sister and brother in law for that reason. He will not contact her or see her and told her she was a stranger to us. He will not talk to her at all. So unless you want to play games the rest of your life dump the person and move on.

Um, yes, to me it would be. /: It's hard enough to gain someone's trust, then you take it and stomp on it like bubble-wrap. Yes, bubble wrap... Nice comparison on my part. ;)
