I have had an yeast infection before and my last pap was normal. I don't think I have an infection I don't have any symthems no itching or anything like it. And like I said, the smell is only bad about a week before my period.

How do I go by using the salt suggestion?
I have been told there is a pill I can take does anyone know about it? And could I get it over the counter?

Acidophilous. It's a supplement in pill form that's easy to find. I've tried it and it worked for me.

You obviously need to see a doctor about this. A foul smell before your period could simply be normal OR you could have a STD or some type of bacterial infection, such as yeast. Either way, you need to consult your doctor to be certain. By the way, I would NEVER recommend douching, nor do I think any OB/GYN would suggest this either. Please see a doctor before you do anything.

Douche with vinegar, and water, or baking soda and water. This should help you some what. Just dont douche all the time, it will cause infections in your body. ( also keep yourself clean at all times ). Change your diet of food or alcohol, to stop this funky smell.

You might want to see a doctor. My daughter had this problem and she had gardinerella. You might also try a vinegar douche, it worked for her but my best advice is to make sure you dont have an infection or a condition such as gardinerella.

Is it a bad discharge or just the start of your period? You maybe sensitive to your smell. Maybe, try eating more fruit and vegs prior to you period. You may be eating alot of strong scented foods (onions, garlic, etc) which are more noticeable to you at this time.

you could purchase a kit at your community drug save. it may allow you to realize it you've a yeast an infection, or another type of an infection. some STD's do latest with those indications yet so do a touch organic occuring issues. because you've now had Unprotected sex you could see you well being care service besides. in no way EVER have unprotected sex. no remember what!

Give yourself a vinegar douche. If you don't want to make your own, you can buy them from the drugstore.
