Sorry but straight guys do not shave their legs. The 1millisecond decrease in swim lap time does not justify shaving. However, gay men will use this as an excuse to shave.
Remember: Shaved male legs = GAY

The only straight guys (or gay guys for that matter) who I've known to shave their legs were on a swim team.

besides swimmers, cyclists do it to, as do some runners...any sport where body hair could cause drag which would slow them down.... a quarter-second can make a difference in many closely contested sports, or, if long-distance cycling, the seconds one saves can add up to a decent lead. wieghtlifters/bodybuilders need to shave for judging purposes. alternately, they may simply prefer the feel and look of smooth skin and are comfortable enough with themselves to not worry how more juvenile mentalities may interpret it. or they could have a health issue with their skin that needs legs shaven to better apply ointments. the list goes on....

I think you will find that many guys that weight train will do this. when they shave their legs, you are able to see more muscle definition. the only straight men I have known to do this have been VERY vain, in to their looks that is.

They say it looks good when they work out. As a woman I say it makes me think they are gay and just don't know it yet. I turn down dates with any man that shaves his legs and arms.

Leg hair can be really sexy on a guy, as long is it's not to bushy. So shaving is stupid. They should trim if it's really that bad.

Probly they are hygienic and like to look after their bodys. It doesnt make them gay. Just means they care about themselves and their appearence
