ummm... my favorite way of cooking baked potatoes is: TO COOK THEM!
But if you mean my favorite toppings - well - I just love butter. Enough so it all melts in and the butter gives the potato a buttery flavor. The butter doesn't seem to like my waistline, but I like the butter.

If you have a crockpot, they are SO good when you cook them in there. You just prick them with a fork all over, rub them down with butter, and put them in the crockpot. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-6 hours. They turn out so tender, the skin falls right off the potato...and so buttery and good!

My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES sweet potatos, I just heat them up in the microwave for 10 minutes and let it cool and smash it up with some Smart Balance and within 10 minutes its all gone! And he is a happy camper!

I bake then in the microwave, scoop them out. Mix the scooped potatoes with canned soup, your choice, replace in the shells,heaped of course, top with paprika, and cheese, broil until the cheese is melted

well, you could try baking them, cutting them in half longways, scooping out the insides, mixing the insides with ranch dressing and filling the empty skins, then topping them with shredded cheddar cheese and putting them under the broiler just until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
i'm not crazy about that recipe but others love it.
i just love regular baked with butter, sour cream, salt and pepper.

Yeah they are pretty yummy... although im not really a fan of baked dinners... i prefer mash potato that has been mashed up with pumpkin it is really yummy! Or just plain old boiled potatoes or steamed sweet potato! Yum now i want potato

i luv baked potato's u can cook them in the oven,grill,the fastest time for me i cook them in the microwave
