I am 19 almost 20 and I have not had a boyfriend yet, it seems that all the guys I meet are drunks and like to play girls..so I just hang out with them without making a move ..I really want to start dating why cant I find the right guy for me..is this normal

It is soooo totally normal for a smart girl like you. You see how most men are ( i said most not all!!) and you don't want a part of it. And let me tell you girl, it usually takes women a lot longer to see that trait in men. The fact you see it and don't let it happen to you, and you don't settle, that speaks volumes and will seriously save you heartbreak, drama, money and self-esteem. Keep looking for what it is you want in a boyfriend and do not settle. I am telling you, boys are so insane over us girls, we have such a power we don't even realize it. It does take a long time to find the right guy, but when you do it will be worth it. You are very normal, a step above the rest. Hoe many girls you know get played because they just HAVE to have a boyfriend? How much S@#t you see your girls go through over stupid jerks? Stick to your guns, good guys are very hard to find, and will be even harder for a smartie like you!!!!Good Luck!!!

what a pity for u such a good girl met those nasty men!
here is some advice:
first I agree with u that most of the guys at ur age is really suck,they do drink,smoke, always think about having sex and masturbate alot. I also feel sick of that.but don't worry,this happened is because the puberty,the guys r growing and suddenly they know clearly about what is sex,and when they r chating they always be proud of how many girls they have played and how many times they masturbated everyday.but they will change again when they keep growing,some of them will not think of these nasty things any more and will not proud of how many girls they have played.Even if there r so many nasty guys all over the world,there r still plenty of good man there.I also hope u can have a good additude of dating with boys,please don't think of them all the time.and don't attach importance to it and it will be there someday.if u really really want to fall in love with some one, then change the place u used to be and find all different guys.Remembe this ,don't think u will date with someone when u meet him at the first time,this will make u got failure.Because it will make u feel nervous and factitious.try to be unclouded for everyone u met,make all the guys crash on u and pick the one u prefer,that is another way :)
Generally speaking,not all the guys r the kind that u've ever met,the good additude is the most important thing for u.Don't worry about dating,I can say u'll some day.

I'd say stop looking and just be yourself! The right person will eventualy catch your eye or you will catch theirs. Be patient and stand your ground on how you feel. The right person will show up. Don't worry about it though or be constantly overly looking for someone because that takes away from the true expresion of who you are. Go with the flow and things just click, trust me! Alot of guys are just drunks and players at your age no doubt, but there is definetly some out there that are not.

It just shows that you have good sense and not willing to settle with just any guy. I've known girls who just settled with a jerk just to have a boyfriend even if they're not being treated well. Hang in there, the right guy will come along and you will have a great time.

It is so refreshing to meet a young lady with values. Keep looking you have a lot of time and the right young man will be along. Please stop hanging out with these losers you may be missing out on meeting a good, respectible young man. Don't let appearances fool you try and look beyond that you may be surprised.

change where you are meeting men. Try a laundrimat (honest) it's relaxed, and you'll have an hour to talk...and a reason to leave afterwords.
Or...a church outing (And this is coming from a non believer!) a far better class of man is found in church....don't try bingo...to hard to talk

You should be glad you can detect trouble before you get into it. That will save you alot of heartache. Just keep being you and use this gift you have. The right guy will come. Be patient. You will find him.

you just answer your own question. you hang around with them. why don't you just go out with friends and let nature takes it course. sometimes people especially girls meet guys like their father. I'm not saying your dad is like that but 9 out of 10 that is how it is.

totally normal...you are doing the right thing by just hanging out...or maybe you should find guys who don't drink to hang out with. you are too young for a steady boyfriend anyway.
