I think they should merge the shows again, get rid of eugene and other pointless people. Get the crusierweights more involved, bring back the hardcore belt. And espically have special types of matches more often.

I used to watch it in the late 90's, I think it was much better then.
And I also hate how michaeal cole and JBL are now smackdown commentaters

Yeah. I totally agree wit u. They should merge tha shows. Get a new name, theme song, and stop comparing RAW and Smackdown! becuz it's starting ta get old. ECW should just stay wherever tha hell they r cuz they r just so lame.

I dont think merging the shows will do much for the wwe. In my opinion they have more than enough talent to spread them out among all three shows they currently have. The ECW people are perfect where they are and I think the different style is not such a bad idea. It does attract a more hardcore fan base and of course brings in more money for the company. Besides, I really don't want that style in the wwe any more than it already is. WWE should focus on the actual wrestling part of business. They need to ease off the storylines. I'm not saying get rid of them altogether, but for the life of me I can't understand why a promo should get more airtime than an actual wrestling match. I think the commentators on smackdown are fine. I hate JR and King. They should get rid of them.

Great question dude.

It’s so simple but Vince McMuffin won’t do it. It’s like the guy has some sort of brain lock when it comes to business. It should be taught as what not to do in all business classes. Vince always creates the same thing over and over and over. Even his foot ball federation he used wrestling announcers. All his programs look the same and the wrestlers are the same with the same crap. Even the guys he hires that are young look the same as the old guys and the matches feel the same.

But it’s so simple, just buy any of the hundreds of local indy promotions and put it on the air. Don’t send one freaking person from WWE over there, just promote it. Start on a non-prime-time slot and build an audience then move to prime time and build a bigger audience and then you have a completely separate stream of talent and style. Keep bringing in talent, fly young indy wrestlers in and let them debut in a match, they could bring their opponent with them. Some young indy wrestlers work for months on one match and it looks good, fresh and exciting with moves we have never seen before and personalities we have never seen before. Hire a writer to develop different storylines, with young wrestlers, so much more is possible, college feuds, girl friend problems that are more believable than fights with 30 and 40 year olds. Indy feds have the feel of 80s and 90s wrestling you are talking about.

Then you will have two different promotions with two different audiences. Some people will watch both, but most of the people wanting big names or nostalgia will watch WWE and the people wanting young fast paced creative matches and fresh stuff will watch the new promotion.

They will say they tried it but that haven’t, they bought some indy feds and screwed them up and closed them. Indy feds operate right now and have been for many many years and are not going broke, so find a national cable station and put them on and all that money is profit, but you can’t seen 27 vice presidents of whatever over there and expect to make money after paying their golden salaries. You have to start small and build it, just like Vince’s father did with WWF.

Why will this never happen, because it requires Vince to let go of his ego and let another form of wrestling rise up inside his company and that he can not do because of his ego. Second, he has to be creative and create something new and that he has never been able to do. Now Vince has given of himself and worked hard to make wrestling as big as it can be but it will go no further unless Vince overcomes these two basic weaknesses.

By the way, TNA has basically the same problems older wrestlers, old storylines with a smattering of older big-named wrestlers. Why, it’s a business model, named wrestlers bring in viewers and its true. However, if you build up a fresh federation and the wrestling is better and the names start to become known and people start talking, WWE and TNA watchers will turn to the new federation and it will become number one. Trust me, NBC news took over the number 1 slot from legendary CBS news. ABC sports was a joke until Monday Night Football and no one ever gave little goofy Fox News a chance in hell against legendary CNN but now they are nearly double in ratings over CNN.

Number one - get rid of the damn diva searches. They sign them to a deal and then they are gone in a year. Number two - if they haven't already, get rid of Tough Enough for the same reason they need to get rid of the diva search. Number three - give deserving people title shots. I'm sick and tired of seeing John Cena and HHH getting all the title shots. That's hard for me to say that about HHH, since I am a huge fan of his. Number four - get the McMahons off TV every week. Have them make an occasional appearance.

the international wildlife Fund (WWF) sued the international Wrestling Federation (of course WWF) because of the fact they did no longer wan't to combine it up and one in all them HAS to alter their call. So Vince and the international Wrestling Federation lost the lawsuit and that they replaced their names to international Wrestling entertainment (wwe) and whilst they are nonetheless drawing super numbers after the lawsuit the product develop into never the comparable.

I think they shouldnt merge the shows, but make each show have its own personality. You know, completely different from one another.
