I sometimes dream of fighting and it always seems like I'm trying to hit them so hard, but my arm moves in slow motion and I can never inflict any real damage on them. This also happens to my legs when I dream of running from someone.
Here's what it means to dream of "fighting" , according to this link I've included. You can also look up other dream symbols. And remember when analyzing dreams, it's important to iclude all aspects. Like if a particular color sticks out in your mind, or a specific place, or water, is the water clear, murky? What is your general feeling, scared, nervous, comfortable?
Fighting
To dream that you participate in a fight, indicates inner turmoil. Some aspect of yourself is in conflict with another aspect of yourself. Perhaps an unresolved or unacknowledged part is fighting for its right to be heard. It may also parallel a fight or struggle that you are going through in your waking life.
To see others fighting in your dream, suggests that you are unwilling to acknowledge your own problems and turmoil. You are not taking any responsibility or initiative in trying to resolve issues in your waking life.
To dream that you are fighting to the death, indicates that you are unwilling to acknowledge a waking conflict or your own inner turmoil. You are unwilling and refusing to change your old attitudes and habits.
Hope this helps & Sweet Dreams :)

Having violence in your dream could mean that in reality you have some hidden anger. You probably got criticized or disciplined by some high authority. You have no where to vent your anger. That may be why you vent it out in dream. You don't have to be violent person to dream that. Our subconscious mind often reflect our inner self and personality. You probably had that anger, pain stored in your mind for long time. Projecting fight in the dream could be one of the way to let out or release your pain/anger

I'm always having dreams that I'm fighting people. In my case I think it's because I let people take advantage of me and I'm angry. In real life I would never hit anyone but I feel a lot of anger towards people and so that's why I'm fighting them in my dreams.

When I am going through a lot of stress I have dreams like this too. Maybe it is just your unconscious way of getting out your aggression.

I did. I Dreamed I was beating the crap out of the same person night after night. It didn't take long before I realized that this person was always taking advantage of me and making me feel bad about myself.

i am going to work out why on your dream they could imagine you're mocking them. it truly is what i assumed-about someone at present who became complimenting what i became donning. because it particularly feels like it. i imagine it is your subconscious telling you to exhibit screen your concepts-set and mannerisms because being so up the front might want to offend people and confuse them.
