I've bought things through ebay/paypal, etc, but never sold anything. I want to put up an online classified ad up requesting $4 a page for proofreading, but don't know how I'd get paid for my services. Any suggestions?

PayPal can accept payments for you - I would look online for more detail - they certainly will charge you a fee, but you do have some amount of seller protection from fraud, etc. if you use their service.

I dunno if most college kids could afford $4/page, if they have long essays, like 10+ pages, looking at $40 or more, they wont want to pay that just for someone to proofread.
The idea was there but I dont think it would work to well.

Paypal is great, but they do charge a fraction of every deposit made to you.
