No woman has ever walked on the moon. Russian cosmonaut Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova was the first woman in space (1963). Sally Ride was the first American woman in space. The Chinese are planing to send a woman into space no later than 2010.
The reason no woman has ever walked on the moon is because the moon program was cancelled in the early 1970s. NASA didn't start to train female astronauts until the late 70s. Sally Ride was in one of the first classes to accept women. It took five years of training before she was allowed into space in 1983. Because their are relatively few space missions, it can take a long time for an astronaut to get into space, and many who train never make it into space.
In fact, of the twelve men to land on the moon, all were test pilots turned astronauts, except for Dr. Harrison Hagan "Jack" Schmitt, who was the last man to walk on the moon.

There has not been a woman on an Apollo moonflight. No woman has yet set foot on the moon. The first female american astronaut was Sally Ride and she rode the shuttle in the 80's a full ten years after moon landings ceased.

Hello Kitten. The reason you cant find it on the Internet is because it never happened. NASA is currently talking about resuming a possible lunar mission in the near future, so maybe a woman will actually be able to walk on the moon after all!

That's because there has not been any women walking on the moon. They've been into orbit, but never set foot on the moon.
