I've noticed it's getting harder and hard to find out a congressman's party affiliation on their U.S. house of representative websites.

Shouldn't they have a (D) or an (R) next to their names?

Are they trying to hide it from us?

Are they confused about their party identity?

Does it enen matter anymore what party they even belong to?

Go ahead, click the link below and try to identify a few.
I've found more Democrats willing to admit it than Republicans.

If the republicans are dropping the R's trying to confuse us, doesn't that just prove how stupid they think we are?

This is an excellent question and a sign of our times. The leadership in both major parties need a serious cranium rectal inversion. Yesterday, someone left a two-sided printed paper at my door which asked me to vote for this person in the upcoming elections. The document went on and on about who this person was and her background. It even mentioned she had been married 31 years and had grandchildren. Not mentioned was her party affiliation nor any of her views on any issues.
The fact that current members of congress won't admit their party affiliation is less of a concern than those running in the next election who leave out that important bit of info.
I, for one, could care less who the person is or their background. I want to know what they think and where they stand on the issues. It wouldn't matter to me if the candidate got their jollies running naked in the light of the moon. If they had a workable plan and a good grasp of the issues, they're my candidate.

Ha! what aren't they hiding from us. Everything from Sen Kennedy's tryst at Chappaquiddick to all the white southern pILiticians grinning and praising for the black vote. No, they don't want you to know their party, that way you just may push the wrong button and vote for them. Yes, once elected they want as little to do with us as possible. They don't like answering the hard questions that come with the good ol boy voting. No, they know what party lines their pockets, their just not sure what the party stands for(this week). Only to get elected and collect the side bets. You know the old saying. show me an honest politician and I'll show you a recently deceased politician.

I think the Rs are dropping that so as not to be drawn down in November by Bush's party. Recent polls show incumbents are toast in most States acrost America. If I had a Bush bumper sticker i would remove it so I would not to get my car keyed.

They don't WANT to be identified with a party anymore. In the 1970's-1990's, it was popular to be in a party, but then they discriminate themselves when they idenitify with a group.

Republicans don't want to identify with Bush and who the heck would want to identify with a Democrat like Hilary?

That is because many repuglicans are ashamed of their leader and what he stands for and would like to distance themselves from the president anyway they can. Especially any that are up for reelection..

They are all the same. Neither party is looking out for the interests of most American people.
