I have American friends, some whom I keep in touch on a pretty regular (almost daily) basis, so I guess the answer is, No.
That said, President Bush and the US foreign policies arent really popular with a lot of people, so that might have caused the impression. Well, Bush isnt popular with half of the American voters too, so, I guess it's not just like people outside of USA.

Never heard anyone say that Singaporean do not like or do like Americans...
I would say... there may be some who hate the Bush Administration Styles for dealing with Muslims Affair... And this had nothing to do with Singaporean dislikes American...

It not very right to generalise things. There are approx: 4mil Singaporeans and there are approx: 350mil Americans
So to say 100% of Singaporeans do not like 100% of Americans is not very fair and too general.
Say, when you were in school, how many friends do you have? Not the whole school is it? Therefore, there are some we can click with, and there are some that will irritate us.
So, one cannot say that Singaporean do not like American, or Americans do not like Singaporeans. Its up to individual.~

Its a hearsay. Singaporeans are generally welcoming and tolerant. Afterall their country, Singapore, is an open city.

Never heard this. I worked for a guy & his wife from Singapore. Was friends with him first, then helped him open his company, got to know his whole family. Never once did I feel there was any prejudice from any of them toward Americans.

Hi,,, i worked with some guys from there in the middle east and they are very nice and friendly.... to me anyway.....
they have a lot of laws there,,, that we here,,,, in America do not have,,, like chewing gum,,,, for example... and not spitting on the ground or sidewalk.... ect....
they probably dont like our habits more than they dont just like Americans.... We are kind of rude compaired to most nations....
