I don't think we are. We give more money than all the other countries combined.

Well when a huge chunk of the world comes to you with their hand out saying they need food or other resources and it somehow ends up our responsibility; why I don't know but it does, where do you think it comes from?, pixies throwing fairy dust ?, it just falls out of the sky?I don't know you tell me!. Every man/woman/child in the US could have been a multi millionaire, but we've spent trillions (with a "T") to protect and provide humanitarian aid and money for building things like infrastructure and housing to Europe and Japan and China after WWII and in Africa and South America and Asia and just wherever anybody needed help and sure enough someone asks a question like this.
This just shows the rat hole we threw all that money down.We even gave 150 million in aid to Afghanistan in 2001,while they were planing 9-11, and we're the scumbags right? If I was in the white house right now I'd cut off all foreign aid (in a heartbeat).

I'd hardly call a country that leads the world in handouts, benefices, bequests, and gifts to other countries as well as citizens at home "greedy".
What's your REAL issue?

Almost all of us are poor or borderline, so we're anything but greedy.
All of our leaders are greedy, so that's a common and understandable assumption.
One is caused exclusively be the other. Do you care to guess which is which?

because our country is the super power, but the problem is that we fight fair, if another country uses lets say a sling shot to fight then that is what we would use also. we are always playing big brother to everyone.

We Americans need it to pay for things. Sme of the rich people though think you need money to be happy.
