Yes, at this point, he probably would, because the bush administration has done such major damage to the world's perception of the US. It will take years, maybe decades, of intelligent leadership for the US to get back to where we were pre-bush. The guy has been a train wreck for us.

Chavez would bash the US no matter who held the office of the President. Its his only way to hold power, blaming the US for his country's ill run economy. Blaming the US keeps his country men from observing his impotent economic policies. He took the page from the Dictators in the Middle east.

If the US had a president who was less controlling over the whole world and who didn't continue to widen the rich/poor divide, Hugo Chávez would be less likely to bash you. I'd rather Chávez was my head of state than Bush (though my head of state is unfortunately the Queen), the only things I disagree with Chávez on are being too economically reliant on oil and being too friendly with Ahmadinejad.

Chavez- who incedentally owns - ALL, the CITGO gas stations -- would be less vocal and support the democrats in the U.S. Had the democrats not " sucked-up " to the foreign oil regimes, and sold us down the river to Iran,,,,We would not be in this mess...Why do you think the democrats ranted and raved when George Bush took out Saddam....? Because he took out their "cash cow" and no-more OIL MONEY goes to the democrat fat cats. You think George Bush is an oil man....? You have no idea...Stop sticking your head in the sand (pun intended) , and investigate why all of a sudden that anyone with oil in the ground suddenly wants to attack the republican leaders of the mighty U.S.A.

Chavez would keep bashing the US, as long as the US would keep the same foreign policy it has had for years.

It's not a matter of who's the president but a matter of the foreign policy pursued by the U.S..
So, he would probably continue (which is, by the way, the right way to do for him and his country)
