my wife and me and trying to concieve and she had her period a few days earlier . we were intimate and five days later she took a test to see if she was preg and it came back pos.

The bleeding could have been IB (implantation bleeding) not her period. Good luck!!

I'd say false postive. Unless you could've had sex like 2 weeks ago or 3 & she just got pregnant from that but got her period anyway. A test wouldn't come back positive 5 days later. Her body couldn't have started making the pregnancy hormone yet because implantation didn't even happen.

If your wife already use a pregnancy test and it came positive then she is pregnant. Pregnancy test is 99% accurate and can detect even on one day miss period. Still in doubt, consult your Ob-Gyne.

there is a test out there now that can tell you are pregnant the day after you have sex. go out and get that one and you will know for sure

i agree with Holly, sperm can live inside of you up to 4 or 5 days

Well,I think you answered your own question...lol! Yes your pregnant with a positive test....I bet she had implanation bleeding and thought it was her period.....
