ok here are some important pointers...
1) no one on Yahoo Answers could or should be giving a diagnosis of any kind and you should not be accepting their diagnosis...
2) you say you can't afford doctors and such... so please find out if there is a charitable organisation that offers counselling for free and go and get yourself into counselling... while at counseling ask for help for your mother too...
3) there is a good chance your mother has an illness... so love her any way...

It sounds to me like your mom is suffering from a serious mental illness, even possibly Schizophrenia. She needs to see someone, and fast. This is not fair that it is being inflicted on you and affecting your life in such a negative way.
However, I'm sure that she will not be willing, or even able, to listen to you with any kind of understanding....she is ill. It's not her fault, and it's certainly not your fault.
You are 18 years old, and you can't do this on your own. Do you have other adults in your family who would help you to help her? If not, what about friends? You need to seek help, whether from a guidance counselor, a minister, a friend or family member.
Your mom needs medication, and things will be a lot better when she's on meds. The problem is, if she is Schizophrenic, what commonly happens, is once they feel better on the meds, then they try to stop taking them, because they think they're well, and the cycle starts all over again.
As far as not having money to get to a doctor, nearly all communities have mental health clinics, etc. that will help people who are uninsured or underinsured. You can look in the yellow pages under "mental health" and that would give you a starting point.
Hang in there, and reach out to anyone who will listen and be supportive. You can't do this alone.

Listen to me:
Your Mom has Paranoid Schizophrenia. There's no doubt about it. Everything you explained is textbook Schizophrenia.
She should be on medication, simple as that. Force her to go to a psychologist. If left untreated, it will just get worse and worse and many, many people who have let their psychosis go have killed themselves - either in a delusional hallucination, or to escape the misery.
Do something now.

That sounds like severe paranoia or even schizophrenia. I think you should check her into a mental institute to get her treatment. That is not normal behavior she may be mentaly ill.
If Paranoid Schizophrenia is left untreated then your mom will be to insain to bring back. Andrea Yates was schizophrentic and now she's the world's most hated woman! GET TREATMENT ASAP

I AM SORRY FOR YOU AND YOUR MOM...BUT NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TELL YOU THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE 18 YOU SHOULD MOVE ON...I AM SURE THAT SHE WAS THIS WAY WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER TOO..THAT SURELY LEAVES A DEEP SCAR ON A CHILD YOU WILL PROBABLY ALWAYS BE WORRIED ABOUT HER BECAUSE YOU HAD TO BE THE MOM AT AN EARLY AGE AND SHE WAS THE CHILD..MOM NEEDS HELP! AND YOU NEED COUNSELING TO GO ON AND LIVE YOUR LIFE AND NOT YOUR MOTHERS. DO NOT LET THIS RUIN YOUR FUTURE SWEETIE...YOU ARE AN ADULT THAT HAS AN INNER CHILD INSIDE OF YOU THAT IS BEGGING FOR LOVE AND ANSWERS...I SUGGEST READING A BOOK CALLED YOUR INNER CHILD.

properly, you will desire to consult him and tell him the way you notice issues and how you sense. Ask him if your stable grades, comprehend and stable habit are not adequate.. Ask him if he loves you procedures you love him?? tell him him the way you sense in direction of him and how he acts.. If after this he does not hear, if I have been you, i'd bypass faraway from residing house for a sturdy jointly as with out him noticing. i'd call as quickly as an afternoon telling him my reasons of doing this. If I see he'd replaced, i'd bypass returned.. for sure, i does not return on my own.. What if he waits with the plan of thrashing me up??? that's what i'd do...

You're 18- time to live your own life. Aren't you going to college? If not, you should be working and supporting yourself. Move on and encourage your mother to seek help!
