how do you get an acting agent ?

so you can audition and what not.

I would try big fish, it is a good agency. Many of my friends have agents there. Don't go to the Crawford agency. If an agency asks for money up front don't go with them. Agents will take a portion of your paycheck of whatever they help you audition for. It shouldn't be more than 10%.

Getting an agent is more difficult than you think.

What you would normally do is send your headshot/resume/cover letter and demo tape to an agent. If they like what they see then they'll ask you to come in for an interview/audition.

Your acting teacher can recommend a few good agents in your area.

What? No acting teacher? Sounds like you need to do some research on your own.

welll go audition for a play and ..maybe like google it or something. look in the 411, they should have some numbers
