for coragryph,
thanks for the answer. well, two things come in my mind
1) turning the whole muslim world against the States
2) conducting a very expensive (in terms of resources and lives) war to create a less dangerous environment for the state of Israel. (unless u believe the american army is there to liberate the iraqi people).

"Israel might have added some fuel to the fire of fanatic hatred against the US", what is the source of people in the specific region, if not the support for the state of israel?

"And helping Israel led (in a roundabout way) to Egypt becoming an ally, instead of an enemy"

Egypt is an "ally" only thanks to the dictator Mubarak who runs the show there since 1981. I wouldnt bet on an ally like this, as bombs explode there, not very frequently, but they do.

It seems like a good viable solution, as things are right now, would be the creation of kurdistan. but then u would have to deal with turkey and iran..

What interests is the US supposedly acting against?

The US has declared a "war on terror". The US state department considers Hamas and Hezbollah to be terrorist organizations. So, any attacks against those groups would be in harmony with US policy.

How does supporting Israel (which mainly takes the form equivalent to international cheerleading) hurt the US?

{EDIT}

While I agree that helping Israel might have added some fuel to the fire of fanatic hatred against the US (it's certainly done so even at home), I don't really think it would be all that different even if the US ignored Israel entirely. But it's a good point. Standing by an ally is never without cost, or risk.

The counter point is that aren't we supposed to be supporting free democracies in the region? And helping Israel led (in a roundabout way) to Egypt becoming an ally, instead of an enemy. Which was one of our goals.

As to Iraq, I think there are plenty of other reasons the US went to Iraq, having nothing to do with Israel. I think we'd still have gone, all things being equal, even if Israel never existed.

Israel is controled by Zionists, not Jews. It is a faction of the Bavarians Illuminatis. Like the Skull and Bone society, in USA.

Bth leader are Illuminatis. They are forging the right major crisis they need to make the Nations accept their New World Order, ruled by the martial law.

They are the Illuminatis, and they own you,
This is the New World Order, and it is your future if the world don't wake up :

And this is what Bush’s minions had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the United Nations Business Council in September 1994

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)

My question to you'd be: who's heritage could we be extra conscious of? You quote from a writing through an Arab, who's in ordinary words attracted to making a good case for Palestine and the Arab/Muslim international, yet spurns the Israeli claims of earlier possession. you also state that it really is absurd to achieve back so a ways in time even as it includes Israels claims, yet ignore concerning the actual undeniable truth that Palestine too, has been vacant from the land for millennia. I do sense sorry for the plight of the Palestinians, yet they were offered lands equivalent to what were apportioned to Israel contained in the 40s and they refused them, even as Israel familiar. Now, you and multiple others can in ordinary words see Israel because the undesirable guy. in no way ideas that they have got had to wrestle wars hostile to very almost each Muslim/Arab united states of america contained in the area, each in certain situations 2 or extra international locations right now and they have been effective every time. the position is the compassion for Israel from human beings mutually with you seem to be? Does the actual undeniable truth that Hamas has fired over 3,000 rockets into Israeli inhabitants centers advise not something to you and does it not worry you that the "courageous" leaders of Hamas cover themselves and their guns in Mosques, faculties and hospitals, utilising the girls and toddlers that are continuously latest as human shields? As I stated, I do sense for the Palestinians, yet they voted Hamas into power, understanding that Hamas is sworn to exterminate Israel and they haven't any individual responsible for his or her present day depressing plight yet themselves.

Israelis attack across border isn't a breach of cease fire????? Boy I'm sure glad there is a cease fire. USA says Hezbollah hasn't disarmed so Israel had its right.. I don't know what the problem is but heaven forbid we denounce Israel.

I'm afraid I don't understand why supporting Israel is against US interests? We have a policy to go after terrorist and or terrorist organizations, Hezbollah and Hamas are terrorist organizations, so what exactly is your problem?

by supporting israel with weapons with massive destruction will not only create jobs and growths in the economy, it will also increase domestic exports and hopefully cut down our enormous national deficit. it's a combination of politics, corruption, greed, and arrogance.
