I may be way off base here, but I think the song you're asking about is titled "Baby, Please Don't Go". Originally it was written and recorded by Blues artist "Big" Joe Williams. The song has been re-recorded by various bands over the years. HTH!!

KC and the Sunshine band sang it originally, but i think it "resurfaced" in the 90's as a dance anthem and it was sung by KWS.

The name of the song is Please Don't GO it was originally done in the mid to late 70's by K.C. and the Sunshine Band.

I have no idea but maybe "where'd you go" by fort minor.. thats the only song I can think of that might have that in it.
