it is the length of pants measured on the inside of the leg from the crotch down. Take a pair of pants that fit and measure from the crotch (fly area) to the bottom. This is approximately your inseam. An outseam is the measure from your waste to your pants bottom.

The inseam is the length of the pants (the length from crotch to foot). You measure this by using a tape measure (have a friend or relative do this for you) , measure the inside of your leg from crotch to foot. this will give you the inseam measurement. If you have no one to measure for you, you can take a pair of your pants lay them down like your going to iron them and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the pants leg and this will give you the inseam measurement.

The inseam is the distance from the crotch to the bottom of the pants leg. Its normally measured as the distance from your crotch to the top of normal shoes. You may prefer your trousers to be longer or shorter.

The measument from the inside of your leg, crotch, where the pant would feel comfortable and to the ankel top of foot or where ever you want the pant leg to end, this measument is tanken by tape measure, usually made of fabric, and taken on the inside of your leg by another person while you are standing comfortably with your legs slightly apart yet natural.

It is the part where the seams meet at the crotch down to your foot (or where the pants lower hem is). You can measure a pair of pants you already own that fit you nicely, just measure from the crotch to the hem at foot.
