Where are the UN forces who are supposed to be stopping this?

I mean, why didn't the UN do its job? They have a duty to stop arms coming in, not leave the job undone so that Israel has to break the treaty in order to fulfill it! Here is a quote:
"pursuant to the Lebanese cabinet decision of July 27, 2006, there will be no weapons or authority in Lebanon other than that of the Lebanese state;
>No foreign forces in Lebanon without the consent of its government;
>No sales or supply of arms and related materiel to Lebanon except as authorized by its government;

Israel is a sucker to go for this UN crap.

Israel is the one who has to deal with these crazies on their border day in and day out. The UN is a bunch of leftist soft-*ss politicians who think that you can talk everybody into a lolipop utopia.

Israel knows that these people are constantly amassing arms toward the end of destroying the Israeli state, and the UN believes that we can all just get along, which clearly is not the case.

In any situation in life, it is up to the person with a vested interest to take the strong action necessary to get the desired result.

Do not entrust your future, your well being to apathetic and lackadaisical third parties.

The UN is a joke.
The UN forces should be lead by France but they are going to send 200. Like thats going to do anything.
If Hans Bliks did his job looking for WMDs in Iraq We would not have gone there. but he had no power to search, So the question was still there and Saddam was non compliant

Law is only enforceable if there is the ability to apply extreme force.

Last I hear , afew days ago, on the news they said the UN forces could take aas llong as a week to get to where they need to be. I think Israel stopped becaues of the cease fire agreement (if I'm wrong someone please correct me), though I honestly don't know how long that will hold. Hope that helped.

Isn't anyone yet convinced of the Zionist threat? They sign an agreement and don't wait a week before acting unilaterally. This is not the first time, and if something is not done about it it won't be the last.

And who is stopping arms from being given to Israel????

Primarily to stop the attacks coming from Hezbollah! Still don't understand why people don't keep up with the news of the world. And then make up such radiculous questions as the one posed.
