The World Trade Center in New York had more than one building - I think there were 7? So yes, the Twin Towers were the two tallest buildings in the Center.

Actually, there are other trade centers in foreign countries.

They created the Twin Towers as the world trade center of New York when the demand was high for office space.
I doubt all that office space lost on 911 will be replaced on the same site, and the demand is not as high as it once was.

The demand exists for cheap office space, and that area had to have very high rental costs.

I believe it will evolve into a tourist attraction.

People want to see what it turns into, and want to learn about all those poor innocent people, who might have been you or I except for a quirk of fate.
