I have heard that "breaking on the wheel" is slightly worse but I can't imagine that's correct.

Maybe not worse, but Hee Haw was equally bad. I hated it when my grandmother would babysit me, because she made me sit down and watch Lawrence Welk with her and I had to behave like a little gentleman.

God! certain i do, regrettably. My mothers and fathers would make a large DEAL of watching this teach and, in a while, the Merv Griffin teach. each were of their own way purely undesirable!!! i'm not particular why many, if any clips, would come out on YouTube An a a million an a 2 ...

Nothing. Watching 50 year old men play trumpets and sing boring songs in a sea of bubbles is lameo. How people used to watch that crap is beyond me. In fact, a rerun of that show is on PBS right now. AUGH!!!!
