PS3 all the way baby!
Why?
Ok cell processor-Kick A**. 8 cpus running the game. This means there is a cpu for each part of the game-physics shading etc.
The Nvidia RSX graphics chip is the most powerful on the market. Not even a pc can reach it Yet.
BD this can hold almost 50GB of storage. A dvd holds 4.7 Gb. The BD can have a game the size of GTA San Andreas with every wall a different texture. thats if the game studios put the time in to do that.
The second generation of 360 titles-the best of them are about the equalls of the first generation of ps3 games.
PS3 has some awesome PS3 only games. MGS4 and final fantasy among others.
I think it looks cooler but thats a personal oppinion.
A hard drive. youre guaranteed a 20 Gb but can the deluxe version has a 60 Gb.
Free online gaming. probably not as good as Xbox live but its free.
The bad.
The price. 500 or 600 (for the deluxe) is a lot of money. In comparison to other consoles when they released years ago and factoring in the inflation its not above average but its still alot.
No rumble in the controller but instead tilt function.
So i think the PS3 is better thant the 360 but you are forgetting the Wii which is a. Cheap. b. Different. It might be pretty cool.
anyway MGS4 is enough for me to get ps3. and if bluray takes off ill want a BD player. the other ones that are on the market now are 1Grand.
Anyway thats my opinion.

if u talking apps, the PS3 is better but don't be mistaken! the xbox had better apps but lost. other than that the 360 has better games and just about the same graphics(I'm talking game play not cut scenes or trailers)

We don't know yet, but right now the XBOX360 is off to an awesome start, and will likely have a better online component than the PS3.

ps3 is better,i read that microsoft has declared the x-box 360 as a world wide disappointment.

I think x-box has better graphics and color.
