I agree with you. I never have liked Carl simply because of his attitude and yes he is definitely immature. It's okay for him to bump someone out of the way to win a race but when it happens to him it's not fair. He can dish it but he can't take it. Not that I think Dale Jr. was at fault for his wreck. When you watch the replay you can tell that Carl was already starting to turn sideways when Dale Jr. came up behind him.
And then the whole coming out from pit road and hitting Dale Jr., that was totally uncalled for. He could have taken Dale Jr.'s hand off with that little stunt. Like Dale Jr said he was just stupid. I really hope NASCAR gives him a race suspension for his little temper tantrum. They definitely need to do something with him.

I was at the race, Dale Jr got more boos than a gay Jeff Gordon!!!!!!!!!!
We had to move our seats so we could hear Jr talk because the people next to us were sooo high strung. MIS is know as the House of Roush and Ford Country (unfortunately) and those folks were NOT happy. So Edwards had something to prove. At least they didn't throw things at Jr (like they did to J Go at Talledega). Poor Jr didn't even do any burnouts.
Can't wait until Tuesday to see what kind of penalty gets handed down to Edwards for this one. Edwards came on to pit row and shut his car off. Then he started it back up again and took off after Jr.
No matter what, Carl will get nailed to the wall for that one.
Carl was ignorant, I hope it effects his Cup position as well.

First off whenever Jr or Stewart wreck someone, why is it ALWAYS the other persons fault? I agree Edwards should not have acted like that- But it is time that someone takes the punk drivers like Stewart and Jr. to task. If NASCAR would give them better penalties than what they do, the drivers would not feel they have to settle it. I did not see the race today, but I read about it on nascar.com and it sounds to me like it was intentional for Jr. to bump Edwards so that he could gain the lead. Jr's true colors are coming out again- this is how he used to race when he actually was winning- nothing has changed. Jr always bumps someone and then blems it on that person- Stewart does the same thing- they are both idiots.

I didn't see the race nor have i seen a replay of what happened. sounds like Carl is mad at himself and taking it out on Jr. He started a fight with him? wow....I'm going to have to go find a replay somewhere and see for myself.
Edited:
I'm going to start off by saying....people....don't let your emotions or who you like or dislike get in the way of facts of what did or didn't happen. Ok, I just went and watched the many replays on NASCAR.com....not only did Carl get loose in the previous restart, as Robby G. had stated....but he got loose on this one too....He got loose and when you get loose you slow up....there's where the contact came.....obviously it wasn't intentional....I understand Carl was mad....but was an accident....and it wasn't Jr's fault. I personally really like Carl, but hey that's what happens sometimes, he needs to get over it, stop blaming Dale, and move on to the next race.
As far as Carl flying back out on the track like that, I like Carl, but he deserves a penalty for that. That was completely ridiculous, not only that, but he could have caused those cars (not just jr) to wreck into each other, and he almost did. Jr had his hand out the window and Carl could have knocked his hand off, that was completely stupid and uncalled for. As a driver, mad or not, he should know better and I hope NASCAR handles that. In his post-race interview they asked if he got loose, he completely avoided that and would not admit to getting loose.....like i said, I like Carl, always have, but he showed his a$$ today and he deserves proper punishment.

Carl Edwards is a huge baby and needs to shut his mouth. He irratates me. In an interview like a week ago, he accused Tony Stewart of calling him names, then Mr. Ed went and called him a moron. He's a flip flopper. The idiot also thinks everyone else is stupid for pulling the same **** he did at the busch race. THEN he goes on t.v. just an hour ago and says that hes sorry just so NASCAR will give him a smaller punishment. I wish he could be placed infront of a firing squad.

I agree!!!! Carl got loose & Junior had no where to go. It wasn't Junior's fault. People should know by now that Junior isn't a dirty racer. He doesn't wreck people on purpose. And Carl should know that. And then Carl hits Junior's car under caution! Junior's hand was out of the car when that happened & Carl almost took Junior's hand off! Carl is REALLY immature. I'm glad someone else has realized this. :)

His reaction was immature without a doubt. It isn't the first time he has tried to wreck someone after they have taken him out..remember Pocono a few weeks ago between Stewart and him. I like both Jr and Edwards, but I think Edwards needs to learn you can't do that every time some one wrecks you cause one day, he may lose major points for that.

I completely agree. Jr is lucky that he still has his hand. Carl needs to grow up. I think he should have gotten punished for that, I mean Tony Stewart got fined for doing the same thing to Vickers a while back, why'd they let Carl get away with it?

it was imature. but it was also racing. the part where jr wrecked edwards was racing and edwards should just get over it, the rest of it was immature, but its those sorts of things that make NASCAR, what it is. i love it.
